Phone calls, letters and lawsuits after bankruptcy are illegal.  It is against the law for bill collectors, debt buyers and credit card companies when they try to collect debts that have been discharged in bankruptcy.  It’s also against the law when your credit report is not updated to show the fact that you discharged the debt in bankruptcy.
